How does Whiting Systems PURE® Hard Surface Disinfectant work?

Whiting Systems PURE® Hard Surface Disinfectant's patented molecule, Silver Dihydrogen Citrate (SDC), is one of the most powerful antimicrobials developed in decades. SDC is an electrolytically generated source of stabilized ionic silver. 

Bacteria recognize SDC as a food source, "tricking" them into moving towards the molecule. SDC is then absorbed by the microorganism and then proceeds to attack its DNA and protein structure and function. This causes the bacteria to die.

SDC can also cause irreversible damage to the microorganism's outer membrane, killing it that way.
